like yellow snow

This is our front yard.
It was green yesterday morning.
Our neighbors and the last owner told us these Ginkgo trees do their thing quickly. Meaning, they turn bright yellow, and then drop their leaves at once. They weren't kidding. When O and I woke up this morning, it was snowing yellow (click pic).

Wow- that is pretty cool. Isn't that Ginko stuff used as some sort of energy supplement? Time to harvest.

there is a street downtown
a cross street not far off from Dupont Circle
not far off from the Black Cat on 14th Street

the houses are tight brick row houses on a narrow street
lined with Ginkos

I need to ride down there

I took a trip down a few weeks ago and things were still green

it is one of my favorite streets to visit on my short rides home in the fall

Swann street...

not far from the Swann Market

maybe one N
but I like to exhaggerate

and i can not spell or punctuate
